WHAT TEENS AND ADULTS NEED
In order to pass a Nevada Driver’s License
TEENAGERS UNDER 18:
On top of following a Driver’s Education course, Nevada requires all teens to pass a Learner’s Permit at the DMV and complete at least 50-hours of Behind-the-Wheel driving training with an instructor who is 25-years or older, (with a license older than 1 year). Once you’ve held your learner’s permit for at least 6 months and are at least 16-years old, you’re ready to take your driving exam and get your driver’s license!
WHAT DOES A TEENAGER UNDER 18 NEEDS to PASS THE NEVADA DRIVER’S LICENSE AT 16
1) The Certificate of Completion for this Driver’s Ed Course (30 hours of learning time). (register here).
2) The Permit (provisional instruction permit). and a vision test from the local DMV, to learn how to drive with a supervisor
3) A logbook showing the recording of 50 hours of driving training including 10 hours of night driving
NEW ADULT DRIVERS OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE:

If you are a new driver in Nevada, as soon as you pass your knowledge test you will be issued a provisional instruction permit. (Permit) to allow you to drive or practice driving. Individuals who are over 18 years old, but have never had a driver’s license (DL), do not need to train how to drive 50 hours but are still required to get an instruction permit before they can pass the driving test and get an official Driver’s License.
PLEASE NOTE:

The Driver’s Ed certificate does not expire until you pass your driver’s License. Passing driver’s Ed fist would also prepare you for the permit.
Compare Live Classes versus Online driver's Education.
There is a lot of information to swallow in a driver’s class. As a teenager, you’re excited, your parents are terrified, but you must decide between a Live class or Online Education. Of course, you want it done as soon as possible, but you also want it to be fun. Your parents want you to get the best education possible so they are sure you’re knowledgeable and safe as a driver.
Besides the big difference in price and the fact that online courses help remember better what you have learned, the following may help you to choose which one is right for you:

Motivation:

it is a good thing if you are here to socialize but not to pay full attention to the course you have to follow according to schedule.
– You must seat on an uncomfortable chair. The further back you are from the front desk, the more distracted you can be.
Group Interaction
– If you are eager to learn it doesn’t mean everyone else in the class is. Other students may grow bored and distract you or disrupt the class.
– A class can also be noisy, you may miss vital information and you cannot go back unless you interrupt the instructor.
