What Happens After the Exam

ATTENTION TEENAGERS:
You do not need your driver’s Ed Certificate of completion to pass the permit,  only to pass the driver’s License at 16.

To pass your DMV knowledge test /Permit at the DMV in order to take driving lessons you will need a school attendance certificate and a Parental authorization: (see below) 
Also, make an online appointment with the DMV ASAP (maybe 2 or 3 months delay)

WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR  NOTARIZED STATEMENT 48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR DMV APPOINTMENT.
A lack of planning on your side does not necessitate an emergency on our side.

We are treating statements and certificate during evening shift only.
We may not be availalble during the day especially when giving driving lessons. 

There will be a $50 late fee for  urgent request
to get your certificate the day of your DMV appointment – if we can make ourselves available, no guarantee 
as we may have to stop the car.

After we receive your statement we will send you an email to download your final certificate:

IN SHORT:

Pass your exam at least 72 hours (3 days) and send us your Notarized statement AT LEAST 48 hours prior
to your DMV appointment for your Driving skill test.

What is this staement for and why itis calle ” Certificate”

We call it “Certificate” (part 1) to have your attention into downloading it. Sorry for the trick. 

According to Nevada State Law:
you will be able to download a statement just after passing your exam.
It stipulates that
” You declare, under the penalty of perjury,  that you did the course by yourself.“

That statement must be co-signed by one Parent
and NOTARIZED by a Notary Public
(see Post Net or UPS Store or your bank_ closed on weekends) 

(not needed when passing the knowledge test at the DMV (permit).

ANYTHING can happen (unreadable statement, wrong email, etc,

We cannot be held responsible if you HAVE A PROBLEM LESS THAN 3 DAYS PRIOR to your appointment.

We will notify you within 24 hours by returning your Email
when the certificate is ready to be downloaded. Do not postpone to the last day to do so.

  IF YOU SEND YOUR STATEMENT THE DAY OF YOUR DMV APPOINTMENT:

 THE NOTARIZED STATEMENT IS FOR US TO KEEP for 3 years by State Law-  (Not for the DMV).

NOTE: FOR TEENS TO PASS THE  DRIVING SKILL TEST AT 16 you will need:
1) the Driver’s Ed Certificate of Completion, 2)  your permit 6 to 12 months old), and  3) you’re driving log book.
 To pass the final driving test you will need to bring your  Driver’ Ed certificate of completion to the DMV.

THE CERTIFICATE COMES IN TWO PARTS: (see A and B below)

A – YOUR NOTARIZED STATEMENT: 
You will be able to download it right after passing the exam. This document must be returned to us (State Law) after being co-signed by one  Parent in front of a Notary public who will verify both your signatures and  Notarize the document. ( the original form is downloadable upon completing the exam.  contact us if you missed it).

B – YOUR CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION:
This document is requested by the DMV on your appointment day for the final driving test. It is downloadable after we receive the Notarized Statement from you after being VERIFIED AND NOTARIZED BY AN official notary public )

 How do I get my Certificate? Follow this procedure: (see A and B below)

A- ABOUT THE NOTARIZED STATEMENT:

 
A –  DOWNLOAD YOUR PERSONALIZED STATEMENT just fter passing the exam (Blank form under your name).
DO NOT SIGN IT BEFORE SHOWING IT TO A NOTARY PUBLIC.
  1. After passing the exam click on the button “download   your certificate (part 1):
    that is your personalized Notarized statement

    DO NOT SIGN IT IN ADVANCE!
    If you missed it please contact Pierre in chatroom to send you a new link for it.

  2. Print i t and bring the form AS-IS to a Notary Public: (do not sign in adavance)
    ( see Postbet or UPS store or your possibly your bank, or any other place with a Notary Public. 
    You must go with one parent to co-sign with you.
  3. The Notary will verify both your signature and will apply an Official Stamp on the form with his/her signature.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: 

  4. Once verified and signed by the Notary:
    Scan or take a picture of the Notarized Statement  (    We recommend using CamScanner App for a perfect picture.)  
    and attach to an email (do not send it by regular mail – this will save you time.
  5. Verify the picture is clear and not out of focus before emailing it to us  (The email address is mentioned twice in the document)  KEEP THE ORIGINAL IN YOUR FILES. (This is not a DMV document).
  6. Wait for the return Email from us within 24 hours.

That Email will let you know that the Certificate is ready to be downloaded. We process Statements and certificate in the evening to be ready before 8AM. 

DO NOT WAIT THE LAST DAY! there will be a $50 fee to process it as an emergency the same day.
Remember that Notary Public are only open during business hours, they also may charge a small fee.
Bring Identification along with you and one Parent.

B – ABOUT THE CERTIFICATE

B –  Within 24 hours we will respond to your email to confirm your statement and unlock your Certificate.

then you will be able to log into your account to download your Certificate of Completion

Print it and bring it as is with you,  when going to pass your DMV driving skill test.
Give it to the DMV Instructor.

 

WHAT IS A NOTARY PUBLIC?

How Does A Notary Identify A Signer?

Where can I find a Notary Public?
[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”]In many places: Post net, UPS store, Post Office, your bank may also have one for their clients. Call them first, since a charge may apply. Be aware that they are only available during business hours. Remember to send it back 24 hours before your DMV appointment. Make sure to plan!!![/shc_shortcode]
